Think about it... you can't be truly grateful and unhappy at the same time. It doesn't work, you can't do it. Why? Because gratitude does a few different things. When we are grateful, we are in the present moment. We are focused on what we DO have and not what we don't. We are loving. These are all key ingredents of happiness.
